I have not posted in a long time because I do not really know what to write(and I still don't)!
Life has been... rather interesting. My husband was in a car accident in March so we have been having to bum rides places. It sucks!
Brandon has been growing a lot and learninfg new things everyday! It's simply amazing! He was recently released from his pediatric pulmoary specialist! Thank goodness! That means no more sleep studies, unless he starts showing signs of sleep apnea again.
He signs for "more" now also. I've bee trying to get it on video but he always stops when he sees me get my phone out! Go figure! Lol.
We've had concerns about his speech development so we've seen a few specialists. One said based on what she seen in her office, he's a little delayed. On the other hand, a different lady came to our house yesterday to ask us a bunch of questions said that he does not look behind at all. She also said that he would not qualify for head start because the child has to be delayed in two areas and we were only having concerns about his speech.
I'm praying that his speech will just take off like a rocket. He will say things and then you never hear it again. But so far, off the top of my head, this is what he consitently says; mama, dada, bye, hi, up, help me, yeh. He has been babbling A LOT which MiMi(the first lady from Baton Rouge Speech and Hearing, the first lady we met with about his speech) said is a very good sign and that's a form of speech and communication even though we do not understand him.
I've recently decided that I am going to make Brandon a quiet book, or more depending on how well the first one comes out. I have a lot of idea and started on a page today. But being that I'm home alone and Brandon is being a handful, I will not be able to finish it and share with you today. Hopefully next post will have it included in it.
I really want to keep up with my blog and learn to write better. I am a horrible writer. So maybe I will Google some writing tips? Lol.
