So, I have been completely side-tracked and I have not been able to work much on my quiet book. :( Hopefully I will have some free time soon to resume the process of getting the shapes to my liking, deciding the colors they will be, cutting the pieces out, situating the pieces to my liking, etc.
I have had a few interviews this past week. All for childcare and having my own "class". Being a teacher was something I gave up on in 2009 when I left NSU. But, recently I have decided that I really am still passionate about the child care profession and I think I will give it one more try. I do still want to become an ultrasound tech though!
In all my 22 years on Earth, I have not really cooked. I love to bake but NOT cook! Why? Well, there was this one time when my mom was working late and I was hungry. I decided to make instant mashed potatoes in the microwave. It turned out horrible. I tried to make the WHOLE BOX of mashed potatoes for just myself.
But, I decided recently that my husband and child need good, homemade meals! So I have been pinning like crazy and writing recipes down like there is no tomorrow. I have started a recipe binder that I hope to keep adding to as I become better at cooking.
I cooked Sheppard's Pie the other night and Ranch Pork Chops with potatoes last night. They were a success. My hubby and son loved them! I can not wait to get more of my recipe binder done so I can share it all with you!
